Specialised construction work

THE SLIDING FORMWORK TECHNOLOGY

When using sliding formwork technology, concrete is poured into a constantly moving formwork. During concrete pouring, the formwork rises vertically at low speed, which allows the concrete to solidify during the movement of the formwork system and the construction to safely stand without support. Depending on the type of construction, as well as different weather conditions, the rise of the sliding formwork can reach 2-4 meters in a 24-hour cycle. Sliding formwork technology can usually be operated between 5°C and 30°C, but this temperature range can be increased by providing a special protective environment.

Sliding formwork is the most economical, affordable option for the construction of tall objects (that is, for facilities of 5 floors or more), since it is the fastest method of building vertical reinforced concrete structures.

SLIDING FORMWORK TECHNOLOGY IS MOST OFTEN USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF FACILITIES:

  • Chimneys
  • Elevator shafts and staircases
  • Service mines
  • Liquid storage facilities
  • Silos
  • Gravitational concrete structures, e.g. oil platforms
  • Bridge piers, piers

ADVANTAGES OF SLIDING FORMWORK OVER OTHER CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES

  • High efficiency can be achieved with sliding formwork
  • With sliding formwork, facilities of various shapes can be built, such as angular, oval, circular and conical structures, as well as variable cone cross-sections
  • The method requires minimal scaffolding and temporary work, so the construction site is also safer
  • At the bottom of the rising formwork, a ready-made concrete surface can be immediately made
  • Sliding formwork requires a small, highly qualified workforce
Structures with variable wall thickness can be built

CONSTRUCTION MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY

Our production department produces heavy and light steel structures, tanks, robotic frames. Our assembly department deals with industrial pipe assembly and steel structure assembly all over the country. In addition to our competitive team of professionals, our state-of-the-art machine park is the key to our quality work. We have several high-performance MAHE and Kemmpi welding machines, a 6×3 meter CNC-controlled flame and plasma cutter, as well as hand tools for individual work. A Manitou MRT2150 type bogie telescopic loader helps us assemble and install heavy steel structures on site.
